How to Enroll: Interdistrict Permit Application Process
If you are a non-resident of Wiseburn and would like to apply for an interdistrict permit for the upcoming school year, please refer to the directions below for completing the application process. If you have any questions, please reach out to us at enrollment@wiseburn.org.
Due to enrollment limitations set by the Lawndale and Hawthorne school districts, Wiseburn is unable to support all enrollment/permit requests from families residing in these areas. We continue to monitor these limits and offer enrollment opportunities as they become available.
Note: This process is easiest if you have all required documents photocopied, converted to PDFs and ready to be uploaded before starting the application. Please note that incomplete applications will not be considered after 30 days.

Create an account on PowerSchool Enrollment and begin your student’s enrollment process.
Use the buttons below to access the application for the intended enrollment year. The link will take you to PowerSchool Enrollment.
Follow the prompts on PowerSchool Enrollment to create an account and submit a interdistrict permit enrollment application for the intended school year.

Once your documents have been submitted and verified by Wiseburn USD ...
You will receive an email confirming that your documents have been approved for enrollment to attend school in Wiseburn.
If you are missing documents, someone from the Enrollment Team will let you know what needs to be uploaded to proceed.
If you submit an application but later decide not to enroll your student, please email enrollment@wiseburn.org to let us know.

In July, you will be sent additional online registration forms to be completed BEFORE the first day of school to ensure your student is placed in a class.
Important Information
Please note: A student applying as a non-resident will need both an incoming Interdistrict Attendance Permit Agreement (Wiseburn) and an outgoing Interdistrict Transfer Release Permit (student's home district) to complete the enrollment process. The application may be completed before the Interdistrict Transfer Release Permit is obtained.
- Be sure to apply to your home school district for an Interdistrict Transfer Release Permit.
- If you have any questions regarding the process to apply for your Interdistrict Release and want to schedule an appointment, please contact the Enrollment Outreach Coordinator at enrollment@wiseburn.org.
- If you do not have the approved release ready to upload as part of your application, upon receipt please email the release to enrollment@wiseburn.org.
- It is your responsibility to fill out Wiseburn’s online permit application completely and submit all the required documentation listed below at the time of submission. Unfortunately, incomplete applications cannot be processed and will be removed after 30 days.
