How to Enroll: Interdistrict Permit Application Process

If you are a non-resident of Wiseburn and would like to apply for an interdistrict permit for the 2025-2026 school year, please refer to the directions below for completing the application process. If you have any questions, please reach out to us at enrollment@wiseburn.org.

Due to enrollment limitations set by the Lawndale and Hawthorne school districts, Wiseburn is unable to support all enrollment/permit requests from families residing in these areas. We continue to monitor these limits and offer enrollment opportunities as they become available.

Note: This process is easiest if you have all required documents photocopied, converted to PDFs and ready to be uploaded before starting the application. Please note, that incomplete applications cannot be processed and will be removed after 30 days.

Step 1

Create an account on SchoolMint and begin your student’s enrollment process.

Create an account on SchoolMint at wiseburn.schoolmint.net.

Follow the prompts on SchoolMint to create and submit a resident or interdistrict permit application for your student.

Step 2

Once your documents have been submitted and verified by Wiseburn USD ...

You will receive an email on SchoolMint with an offer for your student to attend school in Wiseburn.

If you are missing documents, the school office manager will let you know what needs to be uploaded to proceed with an offer.

Step 3

If an offer is made...

Accept it promptly on SchoolMint to receive initial online registration forms, which should be completed as soon as possible.

Step 4

In August, you will be sent additional online forms to be completed BEFORE the first day of school to ensure your student is placed in a class.
