Exploring a District-operated, non-charter high school option for Wiseburn students
Wiseburn USD is exploring the establishment of a District-operated, non-charter high school option for Wiseburn students. This inquiry is in an exploratory phase, and we are eager to continue engaging with the community as we did during the Facilities Master Plan development to gather feedback and insights.
The establishment of a district-run, non-charter high school option has been a goal since the inception of Wiseburn USD, and we have the capacity to start planning this venture at this point in our district's story.
Our goal is to establish a continuous, integrated learning pathway within Wiseburn USD for our students from Transitional Kindergarten (TK) all the way to the 12th grade. This venture will also ensure prudent management of and oversight of our resources, including our shared Wiseburn High School facility, made possible by our community's significant investment in education.
This new high school would aim to provide an additional, enriching educational option for our students, while maintaining a strong partnership with the existing Da Vinci Schools in order to best serve our community’s students. We believe that by offering diverse educational opportunities, we can cater to the unique needs of our students and support their individual growth.
As we embark on this exploratory journey, we will be actively seeking the input of our community members, educators, and students to ensure that our plans align with the needs and aspirations of those we serve. We encourage everyone to stay engaged and look out for updates as we continue to explore this promising possibility. Your feedback and participation will be invaluable in shaping the future of education in Wiseburn USD.
