As the 2025–26 school year comes to a close on June 11, Superintendent Blake Silvers reflects on an extraordinary year, congratulates our 5th, 8th, and 12th grade promoting students, and shares what's ahead this summer — including the reconstruction of the Del Aire/Da Vinci Connect baseball field, district-wide cleaning and maintenance projects, and a heartfelt thank you to Wiseburn staff and families.

Beginning in the 2026–2027 school year, Wiseburn Unified School District will begin a phased transition to Standards-Based Grading, a more learner-centered approach designed to provide clearer feedback on student progress, growth, and grade-level proficiency.

Wiseburn Unified School District is proud to welcome Mr. Christopher Watson as the next principal of Del Aire Elementary School. Selected through a community-driven process shaped by input from families, staff, and teachers, Mr. Watson brings more than 20 years of experience in education and a deep commitment to visible leadership, transparent communication, student-centered learning, and strong school community.

For more than a year, Wiseburn Unified School District and Da Vinci Schools have worked collaboratively and intentionally to ensure a thoughtful transition of FUTURES Plus, the adult transition program serving young adults with exceptional learning needs. Beginning July 1, 2026, Da Vinci Schools will assume full programmatic responsibility for FUTURES Plus as part of our continued commitment to inclusive, transition-focused education for students ages 18–22.
