Dear Community,

Thank you for your input on our facilities needs this year. With your input, the board adopted the 2022 Facilities Master Plan and reviewed a solution to address our needs at the regularly scheduled June 23 public board meeting. Your continued investment in the local quality of education, supporting both our teachers and students, is invaluable. We have our entire community to thank as we maintain our status as one of the top performing school districts in California.

We are proud of our entire community of teachers, students, parents, and staff for their achievements this year, and we extend our congratulations to all 2022 graduates – whether they are going on to College, High School, Middle School or even Kindergarten - We are excited to watch their progress! We are planning ahead for all our continuing students, actively shaping the future with school facilities that continue to support excellent teaching and learning for all grade levels.

Your opinions have helped us in developing a prudent, community-responsive bond package to address our most important facilities needs. Your locally elected Board of Education will make important decisions soon about these recommendations and is considering placing a bond on the November ballot.

Please continue to join the conversation about our future. If you’d like me to come speak to you or your community group, please call 310-725-2101 x 5105 or email wtsubaki@wiseburn.org.

With appreciation,

Blake Silvers, Ed.D.
