Rock Around the Block 2022 makes a spectacular return
Wiseburn Education Foundation's annual Rock Around the Block event was back in-person this year — much to the enjoyment of our community! We were thrilled to see all who joined us at Dana on Saturday, April 30, including our talented student musicians, dedicated volunteers, incredible vendors, and our Wiseburn families, staff, and community members.
All funds raised by Wiseburn Education Foundation during the event are poured back into arts education, healthy lifestyle programs, teacher grants, and STEM activities in WUSD. Thank you to the Wiseburn Education Foundation for putting on such an incredible event and for the continuous support of our schools and programs!
Wiseburn school renaming: Share your thought on name types
Since the decision was made to rename all of Wiseburn's TK-8 schools, the citizens advisory committee and community are now moving onto the next stage of the renaming process and seek to determine the type of name Wiseburn schools should have. The three name type options are: to name after an individual of significance, after a geographic area, or after an aspirational value or characteristic. Learn more and share your thoughts in our new survey by May 6 at wiseburn.org/renaming.
