As the vaccine rollout continues, the COVID-19 metrics have improved to the point that Los Angeles County has left the most restrictive tier. With Wiseburn reopened for hybrid instruction, this will be the final COVID-19 Dashboard newsletter, though our community can continue to keep tabs on COVID-19 metrics on our website.

What this all means for Wiseburn

Over the past few weeks, we've been thrilled to see the county's progression from the Widespread to the Substantial Tier and to know the COVID-19 impact on our communities continues to lessen. We remain hopeful that as we remain vigilant in reducing the spread of COVID-19 and as vaccines continue to be distributed, we will continue to approach the light at the end of the tunnel of this pandemic.

With the improving metrics, we've been able to reopen our schools this month for some students in the hybrid instructional model, and to also maintain the distance learning instruction option. As we continue to devote our efforts to a strong and safe finish to the school year for our distance and hybrid learners, we are retiring the Wiseburn COVID-19 Dashboard newsletter. We hope this newsletter has provided our community with information and updates that were helpful as we navigated some of the more difficult months of the pandemic, and we thank each of you for following along and engaging with us.

Though the newsletter is coming to an end, we will continue to maintain an updated Wiseburn COVID-19 Dashboard on our website. This Dashboard takes the place of this newsletter and instead offers a glimpse of Wiseburn's COVID-19 data, updated weekly. You can find the Wiseburn COVID-19 Dashboard on our website through our COVID-19 Operations and Learning Plan page, or bookmark the Dashboard page here.

Wiseburn COVID-19 Dashboard

As of this week, there continue to be 0 confirmed active COVID-19 cases among District students and staff on its campuses (in-person instruction only). We aim to maintain the safety of our students, staff, and community and ask that we all do our part to remain vigilant as ever, even as we approach Spring Break and hopefully continue to see case rates decline.

Thank you to each of you for reading, and may your families stay safe and healthy as we approach the end of the pandemic, hopefully in the months to come.
